Once again select Pokemon, then change the user back to your main profile. You will be put back at the home page of Pokemon Home. Place Regieleki/Regidrago and Spectrier/Glastrier into the bank, then save and exit. Pokemon Bank will pull up the boxes for your second profile, but the bank boxes will be the ones from your main account. Now you can select the second profile you made, and then select Pokemon Sword and Shield. Do this by pressing A with your name selected, and the game will ask you if you want to change profiles. Select Pokemon on the first page, and on the next page you can actually change the profile. The next step is to open Pokemon Bank, but make sure to open it with the profile your main save is connected to. Once you have the Pokemon you want, make sure they are inside your boxes. Make sure to separate Calyrex from Spectrier or Glastrier, as the combined form cannot be put into Pokemon Bank. Do the same when given the choice on having Spectrier or Glastrier. When you get to the Regieleki or Regidrago temple, choose the one you did not capture in your main game. Now you can finish the storylines to get the Pokemon you want. Beat the game with your powerful Pokemon and then return to the Crown Tundra. To make things faster, I suggest turning off battle effects, changing battle style to set, and turning Skip Movies on in the settings. So take the Pokemon you captured through these adventures to breeze your way through the game. Luckily the Pokemon in the Dynamax adventures do not have gym badge requirements. So you will have to beat all the gyms in Pokemon Sword and Shield and become the Champion to catch them. And Glastrier and Spectrier are unobtainable until you become Champion, as Calyrex will not battle you before that. But you cannot catch any Pokemon since they are “too strong.” This includes Regirock, Registeel, Regice, Regieleki and Regidrago. This will help you in the next step.Īfter finishing the Dynamax adventures you are able to play through the storylines in the Crown Tundra. Go through a few Dynamax adventures to get a team of level 65-75 Pokemon that will obey you. Even though you have no gym badges, you can still catch any Pokemon in a Dynamax Adventure and choose one to keep. Lose to Peoni and play through the Dynamax Adventure. After that you can immediately go to the Crown Tundra if you want to. Now you will have to play through the start of the game until you get access to the wild area. Once you have a new user, open up Pokemon Sword and Shield and start the game with your new profile. If you already have an extra profile laying around, you can skip this step. To make a new profile, go to system settings > Users > Add User. Be aware, that you must have Nintendo Switch Online and access to Pokemon Bank in order to do this.įirst you will want to add a new profile to your Nintendo Switch.
